June 1st = BIG DAY FOR UK MUSIC!

This is one of the biggest tracks from Skepta's new album, Microphone Champion. The album is actually really good, a nice mix of tunes, some for the zan dem and some for the gyal dem (haven't heard Wiley's yet cos I haven't been sent it yet, LONG). I've heard a couple of tracks from Wiley's Race Against Time album and it's also sounding plenty I must say. June 1st (Monday coming) is a big day for UK music, these two and also the long awaited album from Bashy - Catch Me If You Can.

How Can London Not Like Bassline?

This tune is one of my favourite Bassline tunes out at the moment and it's by Mancunian producer Subzero featuring Sheffield based MC KDOT, the kick gets me every time it drops (which is like every two seconds). This is some Grimy shizzle and I canny believe London doesn't like the Bassline sound, well the majority anyway. It's funny because there is a certain group of London Bassline heads that come to all the raves and everyone in the Midlands know they're faces, haha. SHOCKING!

He's Back!

Legendary MC Gods Gift is back on the radar with this Electro influenced Grime tune. He has been away for a very long time and I'm not sure if I like this new, kind hearted lyriced GG, I prefer him like we all knew him for. Not too keen on this at the moment or the video to be honest, but I may warm to it if I hear it and see it a few more times over. Doubt I'll be hearing this in my local Time & Envy anytime soon though?

Mz Brattatatat is back with this Electro/Grime track produced by Terror Danjah and educating the nation on some hood lingo along with it. We all now the Electro /Grime thing is DEADOUT but every now and again a track comes out that is a potential and this is one of them, it still needs to grow on me but whatever, the video however is plentiful. Signed to AATW Records / Universal this will be out on July 13th.

Join My Mission...

Who remembers the old skool Jungle days, when everyone used to rock their £120 patterned Moschino Jeans and £90 silk Versace shirts? You may be thinking, JP your a yout, you don't know about them days, but I do, when I was growing up my brother was a big Jungle MC and I used to clock him and his people from then. Their clothes were multicoloured and very expensive but heavy at the same time. I'm on a mission to bring back that style and vibe that they used to have from the video above, because we need something either totally new or something from backa day cos it's getting a bit boring, Gstar, shit Hardy and Nike etc. It's more a garms ting really cos I love my Grime and Bassline and ting but Jungle could still do alot for my eardrum still. Everyone, White, Black and yellow all having a good time together, without hypement = A-M-A-Z-E. You might catch me at a Grime dance rocking something like below sometime very soon, I just need to find the ruddy garms first, hold tight my brothers old wardrobe haha!

This is the latest video from the Bizzle for the track Go Hard, featuring Donaeo. I actually think this tune is mahoosive, Bizzle came back with a big one still, on some semi funky / grime tip (his bars are still very simple though). Donaeo is the man at the moment and he does this track justice, personally the production on this alone is ALOT!. The video is looking fresh (although a bit Tinchyesque' as all his videos look like this, black and white etc etc...) Could we see this get into the top 40? I hope so starrr...

This is the latest track from Luton's DJ Reepz featuring Grime vocalist Ny. It's a nice Funky track still, the producky is on point and this has a commercial appeal to it so could possibly do well with a bit more promotion, I'm feeling the video aswell. The release date is sometime in June, but I was told by Reepz it may be pushed back , so I will keep you all informed init...
