New kid on the block Double S is becoming one of the most sought after young mcs at the moment, he has got the fire bars and the skippy flow, a few people say he reminds them of fellow Alwayz Recording artist Chipmunk but i think there very different with their delivery. Following the hype surrounding the Hot Chip cover of Wiley's 'Wearing My Rolex' number 2 smash, they all teamed up together for a good old sing song at one of the biggest festivals in the world, the crowd looks very content.

I was expecting a larger crowd for this performance but its still a good look i suppose for the Grime star. I still dont like the tune though, that singer should stay at home on a real.

Possibly one of my favourite artists at the moment, Natty performed an accoustic set which i thought was alot, definatly check this guy out. Not Grime or Bassline but still.

Estelle

The Hip Hop Soulstress of the moment Estelle did her live set and for an indie/rock festival it was a good reception from the crowd. I feel proud of the uk music scene when i see things like this.

Jay Z

What can i say the guy came through knowing he could potentially get booed off the stage and still did his thing and the crowd was obviously loving it, liked the Oasis cover, smart.

I recieved an excited email from Tinchy Stryders label Takover Entertainment today telling me that the 'Stryderman' track has been playlisted on Radio 1 this week following all the support from BBC 1xtra djs Ras Kwame , Tim Westwood, Trevor Nelson and fellow Radio 1 djs Jo Whiley and Zane Lowe. Hopefully if this gets played on a regular we could possibly see another Grime act hitting the Top 40 charts this year.

New on the scene making moves: 20 year old producer Rude Kid will be coming out with a EP called 'Are You Ready'?. The four track ep is out June 30th on Dirty Canvas' label 'No Hoods No Hats'. You may have heard mcs such as Wiley and Skepta to Badness and Ghetto freestyling over Rude Kid productions which shows he must be doing alot on the production side because i dont think they would exactly spit on poor production do you?. The Body Snatchers - Album Review

Underground production duo hailing from Washington D.C now residing in Bristol 30Hz (owner of dubstep label Tectonic) and Baobinga also known as The Body Snatchers have a new album called 'Feeling Good,Looking Nice,Smelling Right'. The cd is made up from a mixture of bass heavy pleasures from Bassline and Crunk to Hip Hop and Electro House, not my usual mix of musical taste but its actually doing alot for my ear drums at the moment. Track 2 'Jaminglish' Feat. Sirplus is a mc based track over some grimey electro business with alot of Bumbaclarting,Bloodcleeting and all the rest of the Jamaician cuss words but its definatly one of the best tracks on the album. They have worked closely with acts Yolanda,Sirplus and Sporty-0 on alot of tracks keeping it in camp but it seems to work as all the tracks sound very fresh without sounding samey.
